PHONG NHA BOTANIC GARDEN 2 DAYS TOUR ITINERARY

The First Day:

8:30 am: Our local guide and private car driver will pick you up at your homestay or hotel in Phong Nha town. After that, we transfer you to the Wildlife Rescue Center.

8:45 – 10:15 am: Experience the Wildlife Rescue and Rehabilitation Centre. Here, you will learn more about the stories, endemic, and rare plant and animal species from our excellent tour guide.

10:15 – 10:30 am: We depart for the Botanic Garden Phong Nha.

10:45 am – 1:30 pm: Upon arrival at the Botanic Garden, we will explore the display house to learn more about the rare flora and fauna of Phong Nha Ke Bang National Park. After that, we will trek through the jungle.

1:30 – 3:00 pm: We have pork BBQ lunch with rice-paper rolls with local people.

3:00 – 5:00 pm: After lunch and resting, we trek through the jungle to the valley & Weapon Cave.

5:00 – 6:00 pm: Set up camp and make a fire for BBQ dinner at Weapon Cave.

6:00 – 7:00 pm: We will cook the chicken BBQ with local people.

7:00 – 8:00 pm: Enjoy dinner & drink some local wine.

8:00 – 9:00 pm: Night walk to see some animals.

9:00 pm: Bedtime

The Second Day: 

8:00 – 8:15 am: Wake up to prepare for a new day trek in Phong Nha Botanical Garden.

8:15 – 8:45 am: We have breakfast and ship some cups of Vietnamese coffee for the new day jungle trek.

9:00 am– 1:30 pm: We start trekking through the valley and up to the mountain.

1:30 – 2:30 pm: Have lunch and rest to recharge the energy.

2:30 – 4:00 pm: We continue the trek to reach the Gio (Wind) waterfall and Vang Anh lake.

4:00 – 4:30 pm: After reaching the Gio waterfall and Vang Anh lake, you will bathe at the waterfall and swim into the Vang Anh lake. Besides, you can also take beautiful photos at the Gio waterfall.

4:30 – 5:00 pm: After all, we trek back to the gate of the Botanical Garden Phong Nha. Our private car driver will transfer you back to your accommodation in Phong Nha town. • Phong Nha Botanic Garden entrance fee: Adults are 40,000 VND/ person, and children are 20,000 VND/ child.
• You should bring long trousers and shirts, sunscreen, insect repellent, a hat, sunglasses, a swimsuit, flip-flops, and some clothes to change.
• The best time to visit the Botanic Garden in Phong Nha is from April to September. Besides, you can also visit it from January to March since this is Spring, so many flowers bloom.
