MA DA VALLEY AND TRA  ANG CAVE 1-DAY DETAILED ITINERARY

In the morning

8:00 am: The English-speaking driver and tour guide will pick you up at your accommodation in Phong Nha town and transfer you to the headquarters.

8:30 am: Our Phong Nha local guide will inform safety rules and environmental protection regulations in the National Park.

8:45 am: We depart for Phong Nha-Ke Bang National Park by car to reach the trekking spot.

9:00 am: Upon arrival at the trek departure point, we will trek throughout the jungle to the Ma Da valley. We have to cross a lot of rivers and various difficult terrains.

10:00 am: Reaching Ma Da Lake, we will swim into Ma Da Crystal Lake and recharge the energy after a long trek in the jungle. You can also jump from large rocks into the water if you are a true swimmer.

11:00 am: We leave the Ma Da Lake and trek to Tra Ang Cave. The path to the cave has many large rocks, especially in front of the Tra Ang cave entrance. Hence, you should move slowly to ensure your safety.

12:00 pm: We will enjoy a jungle BBQ lunch to have enough energy before exploring the Tra Ang cave in the afternoon.

In the afternoon

1:00 pm: We will wear life jackets and helmets with flashlights and swim 600 meters into Tra Ang Cave to explore it.

3:30 pm: We will trek back to Ho Chi Minh Road.

4:30 pm: We will enjoy a cold drink upon reaching Ho Chi Minh road.

5:00 pm: Our driver will transfer you back to your accommodation in Phong Nha town and end the hiking tour.

Things you need to prepare:

• You should bring your own shoes in case the shoes at the headquarters do not fit your feet.
