Explore Tan Hoa’s beauty by cycling – the first weather-adaptive tourism village in Vietnam with floating homestays and Tu Lan Lodge on the mountainside.

You have two options when booking this tour: The first option is to explore the Mouse Cave, which was once the setting for the Hollywood movie – Kong: Skull Island and the movie Immortals, directed by Victor Vu. The second option is to join an ATV driving tour to explore the Lim forest, palm forest and myrtle hills.

Enjoy a local lunch at a villager’s home, where you can enjoy delicious dishes and learn more about the special stories of the Nguon people in this area.

Detailed Itinerary

In The Morning

9:00 am: The tour guide pick you up at the headquarters in Tan Hoa. Introduce Tu Lan Lodge, a weather-adaptive accommodation model in order to achieve Net-Zero sustainability.

Explore Tan Hoa Village by bike and visit the households providing homestay services as well as home-cooked services.

At noon, we will have lunch at a local home. Enjoy the real taste of local dishes cooked by the homeowners themselves. Notably, you will also enjoy the ‘Boi’ dish prepared by the Nguon people, while learning about their culture, customs, and traditions.

In The Afternoon

There are two options as follows:

Option 1: Join an ATV riding experience.

This tour offers you a special opportunity to explore the precious Lim Garden of Mr. Do by riding an ATV Quad Bike. Importantly, this option lasts approximately 2.5 hours, allowing visitors to drive through the garden on off-road bikes, exploring the ancient Lim trees. In addition, the ATV tour also contributes to fundraising efforts that support the locals dedicated to preserving this precious Lim forest.

Option 2: Explore the Rat Cave, the filming location for the movies Kong: Skull Island and The Immortal.

This 3-hour trek takes you through the unspoiled cave system with magnificent stalactites, previously used as a film setting. You will feel like a true explorer with an easy level since Rat Cave is located at the forest’s edge. Therefore, we can be accessible by motorbike or bicycle. The tour will end at 4:00 pm.
