The tunnels protected and preserved the lives of the people of Vinh Moc, as well as served in combat. Together, they gathered and transported weapons and food, treated wounded soldiers, and reinforced for Con Co island and the southern battlefield.

During nearly 2,000 days and nights in the tunnels, no one in Vinh Moc was injured, and 17 babies were born. Thus, they created a legend about the Vietnamese people’s miraculous vitality and courageous will.

Hien Luong Bridge 

This historical bridge is also in DMZ Vietnam and spans the Ben Hai River. It holds historical significance as the former boundary separating North and South Vietnam during the American War.

The bridge has witnessed the pain of the entire country and separated families who have not met their loved ones again for more than 20 years since 1954. The bridge also symbolizes courage and perseverance that strongly fought for unifying the nation.
